An aspirant for the Ondo State House of Assembly, Ondo West Constituency II, Akinpelumi Oyewale, has commended Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for commissioning key road and social infrastructure projects across parts of the state.

Oyewale gave the commendation in a statement marking the governor’s first year in office, describing the inauguration of the Igoba Community Road, Alagbaka Extension Road behind SIB, and the Oba Afunbiowo Housing Estate Road in Akure North and Akure South Local Government Areas as evidence of purposeful governance.

He noted that improved road infrastructure would enhance commercial activities, boost security and ease movement for residents, motorists and business owners within the affected communities.

According to him, the projects demonstrate the administration’s commitment to grassroots development and reflect leadership focused on improving the welfare of citizens.

Oyewale added that beyond road construction, the government had also shown commitment to strengthening essential social services through investments in healthcare and water supply.

He listed other projects inaugurated by the governor to include a health centre at Adegbola in Akure, the Omi-Irorun Accelerated Water Scheme at the Federal University of Technology Akure Teaching Hospital, and another health facility at Surulere in Ondo West.

The aspirant said the projects collectively indicated a balanced approach to development, stressing that improved infrastructure and social amenities would positively impact living standards across the state.
