Justice Bamidele Fola Adeyeye, a serving judge of the Ondo State High Court, has died at the age of 65.
The Chief Registrar of the state judiciary, Mr Ayodeji Akinsanya, announced the death in a statement on Friday in Akure.
The statement said Justice Adeyeye passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, describing him as a jurist of integrity, wisdom, and dedication to justice.
It added that he earned widespread respect from colleagues, legal practitioners, and the public for his humility, fairness, and commitment to the rule of law.
Justice Adeyeye was appointed to the High Court on September 8, 2011, after previously running his law practice, Fola Adeyeye & Co, in Okitipupa Local Government Area.
The statement emphasized that his contributions to the growth of the Ondo judiciary and the advancement of justice would be long remembered.
Condolences were extended to his family, with prayers for strength to endure the loss and for the late jurist’s soul to rest in peace.
