The Nigerian Army has called on young people in Ondo State to key into its ongoing 91 Regular Recruitment Intake, describing the exercise as a strategic opportunity for employment and national service.
In a statement released on Thursday by Major Njoka Irabor, Assistant Director of Army Public Relations, 32 Artillery Brigade, the military encouraged interested applicants to take advantage of the exercise, which caters for both trades and non-trades candidates.
The Army said the recruitment, which commenced on March 30, will run until May 17, 2026, noting that applications must be submitted through its official online portal.
It stressed that the enlistment process is free of charge and cautioned prospective applicants against dealing with fraudsters or paying money to individuals posing as recruitment agents.
According to the statement, successful candidates will benefit from structured training and career opportunities across diverse fields, including engineering, healthcare, information and communication technology, logistics, and administration.
The Army added that it remains focused on attracting disciplined and committed youths who are willing to serve the country with dedication and uphold its core values.
It also appealed to traditional institutions, community leaders, parents, and guardians to sensitise and support eligible youths to participate in the exercise.
The statement noted that increased youth participation would not only create employment opportunities but also contribute to strengthening national security and unity.
