Farmers in Faskari, Dandume, Safana LGA’s of Katsina State have started harvesting their farm produce such as millet, soya beans & rice. The locals praise the Nigerian Army troops of Operation Sahel Sanity for providing farm security patrols.
According to some of the villagers the ongoing military operation in the NorthWest region codenamed Operation Sahel Sanity is achieving the desired result of dislodging the bandits from their hideouts thereby denying the criminal elements the freedom of action and also giving hope to the people to go back to their normal lives.
Meanwhile, Katsina State Government says normalcy is gradually returning to the state with farmers and others going about their usual duties all thanks to the Nigerian Army and other security forces.
