Ondo State Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has constituted a five-member committee to manage funds donated for victims of June 5 attacked on St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo.

Members of the committee are Commissioner for Finance Wale Akinterinwa (Chairman); Commissioner for Health Dr. Banji Ajaka; Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development Dr Adebunmi Osadahun; Special Adviser on Union Matters and Special Duties, Dare Aragbaiye and Parish Priest of St. Francis Catholic Church.

Akinterinwa said the State Executive Council (SEC) approved the opening of a bank account to manage the funds. He promised that the money will be managed judiciously.

The commissioner hinted that a website, www.owomemorial.com, has been created where interested persons can obtain information on victims of the attack. He added that the SEC also approved that Governor Akeredolu should urgently issue an Executive Order mandating all places of worship, event centres, shopping malls, hotels and other public places to install functional Close Circuit Television (CCTV) Cameras within and around their premises.
