Chief Ford Ozumba, State Commissioner for Labour, Productive and Employment, represented by Mrs. Ukamaka Ume, Head of Skill Acquisition in the ministry, made the disclosure at a one-day workshop on Sustainable Innovation Technology Economy organised by StartUpSouth and Imo State Innovation Community held in Owerri at the weekend.

Ozumba disclosed that a five-man committee has been inaugurated to facilitate the process, and its success and to ensure that its objectives are achieved.

He said: “The state government led by Hope Uzodimma has, through its policies, demonstrated genuine commitment towards promoting labour harmony, employment opportunities, human capacity building and productivity in the state.”

He also assured the government’s support aimed at encouraging youths of the state into digital marketing, business networking and innovative services.
