HON. PETER ADEYEMI OSOWE REMEMBERED

In loving memory of our cherished father, Late Hon.Peter Adeyemi Osowe whose passing 36 years ago left an indelible mark on our lives. We barely know him. But history has it that he was a man of extraordinary humility, simplicity, boundless energy, and unwavering resourcefulness. His life was a testament to dedication, resilience, and a commitment to service.
Peter Adeyemi Osowe embarked on his educational journey, studying Economics at the prestigious University of Lagos, where he laid the foundation for his future endeavors. His thirst for knowledge and a deep understanding of economic principles were evident throughout his life.

At the young age of 33, in 1983, he took a significant step in the political arena, becoming a member of the Ondo State House of Assembly under the Unity Party Nigeria (UPN). His passion for public service and his vision for a better Nigeria shone brightly, even in a challenging political landscape. Sadly, that democratic dispensation was cut short by overthrow of government by the Buhari regime, but his commitment to the people remained undiminished.

Before his foray into politics, late Hon. Peter Adeyemi Osowe had already made a name for himself as a Sales Manager with the foreign company, CFAO General Import, based in Ibadan, Oyo State. His success in the corporate world was a reflection of his tireless work ethic and innate business acumen.

As the CEO of SOW NIGERIA ENTERPRISES, he continued to lead and inspire, demonstrating his entrepreneurial prowess and dedication to progress. He was not just a businessman but a brilliant teacher who imparted wisdom to countless individuals who crossed his path.

Beyond his professional achievements, SOW as he was fondly called, had a deep connection to the land and embraced farming as a way to give back to his community. His tenure as a former board member of the Ondo State Agricultural Corporation showcased his commitment to the development of agriculture in the state.

Though our father departed from this world 36 years ago, his legacy continues to flourish. His principles, values, and unwavering spirit remain etched in our hearts. We celebrate the humble, down-to-earth, and resourceful man who was not only our father but a beacon of hope and inspiration to many.

You continue to inspire us, and your memory fuels our determination to make this world a better place, just as you envisioned.
