Gov. Aiyedatiwa pledges continuous support for security agencies in Ondo State

The Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has pledged continuous support for security agencies in Ondo State.

 

Governor Aiyedatiwa made this pledge while receiving officers of the Ondo State Police Command led by the state commissioner of Police, CP Abayomi Oladipupo.

The Governor expressed that the primary mandate of any government is security and welfare of the people.

“We believe in security, protection of lives and property and the total well being of the people. We will give whatever it takes to support our security outfits and ensure that are people are protected”.

He added that the government will make sure that Ondo State is one of the safest states in Nigeria.

He stressed that a plan has been made to procure vehicles for all security agencies in the State to help them in discharging their duties.

Governor Aiyedatiwa appreciated the corporation between the Police and other security agencies in the State.

 

CP Peter Abayomi, the 44th State Commissioner of Police, who led the management team to the Governor’s office extended congratulations to Governor Aiyedatiwa on his transition from Deputy Governor to the substantive Governor.

During the meeting, CP Abayomi highlighted the collaborative efforts between the police and other security agencies in the state, resulting in the arrest of several criminals. He assured continued dedication from officers and expressed gratitude for the Governor’s support to all security agencies in the State.

Furthermore, CP Abayomi pledged to protect the people of the State and emphasized the commitment to combatting crime, ensuring a safer environment for all residents to thrive.
