Member representing Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye has urged Muslim ummah in the country at large to take advantage of the holy month of Ramadan to pray for lasting mercy of Allah.

Adefisoye stated in his Ramadan message that it has become absolutely necessary for Nigerians to rededicate their lives to Allah and continuously seek His face to put an end to the ravaging coronavirus pandemic.

He further urged the Muslim ummah to seek forgive of their sins and pray for individual prosperity and the prosperity of Nigeria even as coronavirus pandemic is foisting economic hardship on the world.

“I pray that this Ramadan shall mark the turning point in your lives. It is also my wish that you shall break free from the description of this world and indulge into the sweetness of eeman”.

Meanwhile, Adefisoye has also urged Nigerians to pray for all the front line health workers that are doing battles with the deadly coronavirus. In addition, the Deputy Chairman House Committee on Army has also urged prayers for the gallant soldiers that are fighting insurgents to guarantee peace in the country.

“The front line health workers that are doing battles with coronavirus and all our gallant soldiers that are fighting insurgents deserve our prayers at this period of holy month. Almighty Allah in His infinite mercy shall imbue us with the grace of good health and the inner strength to begin and complete this spiritual exercise. It is also my prayers that all our sacrifices shall be considered by Allah as acts of Ibadah”, concluded Adefisoye.
