Gov. Aiyedatiwa mourns Oyedele Akintola-Arikawe, says he was a patriot

The Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, mourns the demise of a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Barrister Clement Oyedele Akintola-Arikawe.

The governor extended his commiserations and condolences to the immediate families of the deceased, his associates and friends alike.

The governor, who spoke with the wife of the deceased to offer his condolences, prayed that God will grant her and members of the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

Governor Aiyedatiwa described Akintola-Arikawe as a patriot and a committed community leader who wanted nothing else but the development of his community, Ondo State and the country at large.

Barrister Akintola-Arikawe, who died on Wednesday, was a gubernatorial aspirant in the last APC governorship primary in the state until he withdrew from the race.

The deceased, who hailed from Igbotako in Okitipupa Local Government Area of the state, came from a family committed to public service.
