Late Owa of Idanre, an iconic leader of visions -Prince

A prince in the descendants of Olofinwadenu axis of Aroloye family of Idanre Kingdom, Prince Aderemi Adewodun, has described late Owa of Idanre, Oba Frederick Aroloye, as an iconic leader with exemplary visions.

Adewodun, in a tribute to the late traditional ruler on Sunday in Akure, said that the visions of Oba Aroloye were towards the greatness and untiring pursuance of unity and peace in Idanre Land.

Adewodun, who is Director of Works and Maintenance Services in the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, (RUGIPO), said that late Oba Aroloye led his people with fear of God.

He prayed for the repose of the souls of the traditional ruler, and all other members of the royal family that had gone before.

The prince condoled with the ‘Oloris’ and children of the departed Owa, praying for God’s protection and sustenance for them.

Oba Aroloye aged 102 died on Wednesday having ruled for 42 years.
