The Director of Public Relations and Protocol, the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo( RUGIPO), Pastor Samuel Olu Ojo( JP), has extolled the virtues of his late father, Hon. James Olorunfemi Ojo ( JP) on the 10th remembrance anniversary.
Late Pa. Ojo, a retired headmaster and President, Customary Court in Ekiti State, died on August 24,2014 at the age of 91.
Speaking on his late father on Saturday,the RUGIPO’s spokesman described the deceased as an iconic leader that greatly impacted his family and community in no little measures.
He said that the roles and importance of the deceased during his earthly sojourn are indelible and could not be forgotten in a hurry.
“Today, 24th August, 2024 makes it exactly 10 years of a glorious exit of our father, grand and great grandfather, Hon.James Olorunfemi Ojo(JP) from this mother earth.
“The exit was a painful loss to this world but our solace is that it remains a heavenly gain to eternal life.
“Pa Ojo Adajo, as profoundly called, lived a principled, disciplined and selfless life with indelible records that can never be forgotten in human history.
“Your invaluable contributions to our upliftment will remain on the sounds of time,” he stated.
He promised that he together with his siblings would continue to tread on the path of good deeds shown by the deceased.
“We promise to uphold your legacy of handwork, integrity, wisdom, exemplary leadership and philanthropic commitment to the cause of the underprivileged and love for humanity.
“Rest on Pa Ojo Adajo.
“Fondly remembered by his wife, children, grand and great grandchildren,” he said.
