Ekiti-based NGO embarks on back-to-school outreach for school children
The Gbenga Afeni (G.A) Foundation successfully conducted a back-to-school outreach program on 24th September , 2024 in Ekiti, aiming to support students in need and foster academic excellence.
The foundation distributed educational materials, including exercise books, writing instruments, and mathematical sets, to students from OBA Babade Nursery & Primary School and Community Nursery & Primary School Oke-Oro Ekiti.
The outreach emphasized the importance of education and encouraged students to pursue their dreams.
The program had a significant impact on the community, providing direct benefits to over 150 students. By equipping students with essential educational materials, the foundation empowered them to succeed academically. Moreover, the outreach fostered a positive learning environment by encouraging students to believe in their potential and strive for excellence.
The donation of class registers and lesson notes also supported teachers in their efforts to provide quality education. This enhanced classroom management and facilitated effective teaching practices.
