The Governor of Ondo State, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has congratulated the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, on his 50th birthday celebration.

In a birthday message to the revered monarch, Governor Aiyedatiwa commended him for being an inspiration to the youths and preserving the rich cultural heritage of Yorubaland.

He said: “On behalf of the people and government of Ondo State, I congratulate the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, on his 50th birthday.

“Oba Ogunwusi remains a revered king in Yoruba land. His place in the history of Yoruba race is distinct and enviable.

His love for the youths is indescribable. This is evident in his drive to raise self reliant youthful population by navigating them through agribusiness, real estate and other profitable investments.

“I salute his courage to unify the Yoruba race while preserving our rich cultural heritage.

“It is my prayer that the king will live long on the sacred throne of his forebears.

“Happy birthday, Oonirisa.”

Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State.
