Aiyedatiwa congratulates Chief Lateef Fagbemi on Award of Doctor of Laws by ABUAD

The Governor of Ondo State, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has heaped praises on the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Chief Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, on his award of Doctor of Laws (honoris causa) by the Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State, describing him as a national treasure.

The Governor said Chief Fagbemi stands tall in the pinnacle of justice and legal profession in and out of Nigeria, adding that his dedication, expertise, and commitment to justice have made a lasting impact.

Governor Aiyedatiwa said: “Chief Fagbemi’s enduring legacies of truth to power, passion for justice, integrity and forthrightness have earned him great accomplishments in the legal world.

“As a leading light in dispensing justice and ensuring a fair society where the law is exalted above the wishes of friends, I celebrate this special recognition of Chief Lateef Fagbemi by the Senate and Management of Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti.

‘I wish the learned silk more wins as he serves humanity in the temple of law and continues to inspire future generations of legal professionals.”
