A prominent member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Oluwaseun Ajongbolo, has voiced his confidence that Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa will emerge victorious in the upcoming gubernatorial election on Saturday.

Ajongbolo, a former leader of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), made this assertion in a statement released to journalists on Monday in Akure, the state capital.

He attributed the anticipated victory to the outstanding achievements of Aiyedatiwa, stating that the Governor has delivered remarkable results across various sectors in the Sunshine State.

Ajongbolo also urged the people of the state to resist any form of financial inducement or violence during the election. He advised residents to report any signs of electoral malpractice to security agencies.

The statement reads: “As we approach the much-anticipated election this Saturday, I, Oluwaseun Ajongbolo, want to express my strong belief that Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa is on track for victory.

“This assurance stems from the Governor’s exceptional achievements across all sectors of our state. His commitment to enhancing healthcare, education, infrastructure, and youth empowerment is clear, and the positive impact of his leadership is visible to the people.

“Governor Aiyedatiwa’s efforts have reached every corner of the state, ensuring that everyone benefits from good governance. This is why I am confident that the people of Ondo State will recognize his dedication and re-elect him.

“I also appeal to all residents to cast their votes peacefully and not be influenced by financial incentives or false promises from desperate politicians. It is crucial that we maintain the integrity of our democratic process. I urge everyone to report any suspected electoral misconduct to the relevant security agencies.

“Let us vote for progress, vote for development, and vote for continuity with Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa. Together, we can create a brighter future for our state.”
