Governor Idris Swears in Four High Court Judges, Approves N300m for Vehicles
Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, on Friday presided over the swearing-in ceremony of four new high court judges and two khadis at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi.
During the event, Governor Idris announced the approval of N300 million for the purchase of new vehicles for the judges and khadis, emphasizing his administration’s commitment to the welfare of judiciary staff.
“The welfare of the judiciary remains a priority,” the governor stated, urging the newly sworn-in officials to uphold fairness and integrity in their duties.
Among the appointees was Muhammad Nuradeen Abdulrahman, a renowned lawyer known for his unwavering commitment to justice and truth.
The ceremony was attended by prominent judicial officers and key political figures from across the state.
In a related development, Governor Idris also inaugurated the National Qur’anic Recitation Competition at the convocation ground of Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi.
