The Adamawa State Police Command has decried the abduction of two clerics, Pastor Ishaku D. Chiwar and Reverend James Kwayam, of the EYN Church in Billa Malabu, pledging to apprehend those responsible.

The kidnapping occurred early Monday, December 30, in Hayin Gada, Billa village, located in the Malabu District of Fufore Local Government Area.

According to reports, armed attackers broke into the clerics’ homes at approximately 2:00 a.m. and forcibly took them away.

Reacting to the incident, Commissioner of Police Dankombo Morris dispatched tactical teams to locate the victims, capture the kidnappers, and dismantle their operations.

SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the command’s spokesperson, reassured the public of ongoing efforts to ensure the safety of residents and curb violent crimes in the area.
