Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has announced his separation from his wife, Annie Idibia. The announcement was made on Sunday through a post shared on his Instagram page.
In the post, 2Baba revealed that he and Annie have been separated for some time and are now in the process of filing for divorce.
He assured fans that he would release a detailed statement to share his side of the story, emphasizing that his decision to address the issue publicly stems from his love and respect for his supporters.
The singer expressed gratitude to his fans, urging them to remain positive.
He wrote: “Hello my beautiful people of all federation. Well this thing I have to say short but also long… I and Annie Macauley have been separated for a while now, and currently filed for divorce.
“I would grant a press release soon to say my story. Not because it is anyone’s right to know about my personal life, but because I love my people and I want them to know my innocence or offense. Stay bless my people.â€
