A federal lawmaker and the Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Army, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye has enrolled 40 of his constituents from Ifedore Local Government Area for different vocational trainings.

The selected 40 constituents commenced the trainings on Thursday at different centers within Ifedore Local Government. Some of the constituents were enrolled for auto mechanical training while other opted for training in fashion designing. Speaking on the vocational training for his constituents, Adefisoye said the enrollment was in fulfilment of his electoral promises to the people of Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency.

“My campaign slogan was for the people to develop with Small Alhaji and we are only fulfilling the promise made to our people. This is one of the many ways of making it possible for our people to truly develop and become self independent in accordance with my electoral promise.

“Let me be emphatic that our effort won’t stop with only the enrollment of my people for vocational trainings. By the grace of God, I want to assure that they are all going to be empowered with the necessary tools and instruments the very moment the trainings are completed”.

Adefisoye has also assured that a similar training will be extended to the people of Idanre Local government area within a short while. He added that as many of his constituents that are desirous of acquiring skills would be assisted in whatever way possible.

Meanwhile, some of the beneficiaries have expressed their gratitude to Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye for his thoughtful gesture. They further appreciated him for deeming it necessary to teach them how to fish rather than giving them fishes.
