The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has officially confirmed Sunday Ude-Okoye as the party’s National Secretary.
The announcement was made by the BoT Chairman, former Senate President Adulphus Wabara, during the ongoing 80th trustees’ meeting in Abuja.
The Board also distanced itself from Senator Samuel Anyanwu, reaffirming Ude-Okoye as the party’s National Secretary following a meeting held in Asaba, Delta State.
Wabara stated that the decision was reached after a comprehensive review of the documents and matters presented by both Ude-Okoye and Anyanwu.
This comes after PDP governors, led by Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, endorsed the Court of Appeal’s judgment on January 31, urging the National Working Committee to act on it.
Further updates are expected.
