The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Ondo State chapter, has expressed profound appreciation to the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, for fulfilling his promise to support widows of deceased journalists through the ONDO NAWOJ Education Support Fund.

The initiative, now in its fourth edition, is designed to ease the burden of educating the children of late journalists, a commitment Prince Adeniyan has consistently upheld over the years.

In a statement jointly signed by the Chairperson Comrade Tola Gbadamosi and Secretary Comrade Oluwatosin Ighoteguono of ONDO NAWOJ in the state, the association lauded the CPS for his unwavering compassion and generosity, describing him as an exceptional public servant whose empathy continues to make a meaningful impact beyond the confines of his official responsibilities.

“On behalf of the association and the beneficiaries, We sincerely thank Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan for keeping to his promises.

“We pray that God continues to bless and reward him beyond measure,” the statement read.

Ondo NAWOJ Chairperson also urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the funds by directing them strictly toward the educational needs of their children.

She emphasised that the most honourable way to appreciate the gesture is to ensure it serves its intended purpose.

Comrade Gbadamosi further appealed to the public to continually pray for Prince Adeniyan, especially as he remains committed to supporting the underprivileged and bringing hope to the needy in society.
