Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has tendered his resignation as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, citing health reasons for his departure.
Announcing his decision on Friday, the former governor of Kano State said stepping down would allow him to concentrate on improving his health.
The APC leadership has confirmed that the National Vice Chairman will temporarily fill the position until the party convenes in December for its national convention.
