BAN ON INTER-STATE MOVEMENT STILL IN FORCE- CP SALAMI-warns officers of lackadaisical approach at enforcing it.

The Ondo State Commissioner of Police, CP Salami Amidu Bolaji says inter-State travellers not on essential duties should be wary of the consequences of their journeys.
CP Salami said, aside their disobedience and disregard to government directive on the ban on inter-State movement aimed at containing and curtailing the spread of COVID19 across the country, they have also failed to see the danger inherent in their movement as most highways are lonely, making it easier for criminals to rob and kidnap.
And therefore asked, of what gainis it that one is robbed or kidnapped when you could avoid it by heeding a simple word of safety.
CP Salami further advised Nigerians not to see this ban as a punishment, but to safe us from the imminent danger COVID19 portends.
CP Salami who wondered how these travelers beat border security to come into some States, asked his men and officers at the various entry points into Ondo State to redouble their efforts to see that no Inter-State vehicle carrying passengers is seeing anywhere in Ondo State.
CP Salami Amidu Bolaji who said he is in Ondo State to police the people with humility, says this can only be achievable if everyone becomes everyone’s policing agent.
