I took oath to serve all Nigerians, not section – Tinubu

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed his commitment to equitable development across the country, declaring that his administration will serve all Nigerians under the Renewed Hope agenda.

In a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter) by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu said his oath of office binds him to national service rather than sectional interests.

“I took an oath to serve all Nigerians, not a section. That oath guides every bridge, road, rail, power, and health project we deliver,” the President said.

He outlined ongoing infrastructure projects nationwide, including the Lagos–Calabar Highway, Sokoto–Badagry Superhighway, Port Harcourt–Maiduguri rail line, Abuja–Kaduna–Kano expressway, and the Trans-Saharan Highway, describing them as national assets.

According to him, health centres are undergoing rehabilitation across the federation, while light rail projects in Kano, Kaduna, Lagos, and Ogun have been approved.

He also noted that 250,000 jobs are being created, power restored to Kaduna through the revived 255MW plant, and bridges in Onitsha and Bonny are reconnecting communities.

Tinubu further highlighted oil exploration activities in Bauchi and Gombe as well as progress on the Ajaokuta–Kaduna–Kano (AKK) pipeline, which has now crossed the River Niger.

“Every farmer who needs a road, every trader who needs power, every child who needs a school, every patient who needs care… this is who we are building for,” he said.

Reiterating his message of inclusivity, Tinubu stressed: “This is the equity of Renewed Hope. No Nigerian is second class, no region is left behind.

“Together we will rise as one nation, one people, and one destiny. Bet on Nigeria.”
