The Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil, Kano State, has expelled 34 students and suspended 13 others for one academic session over their involvement in examination malpractice.
The disciplinary action was approved during the university senate’s 123rd meeting held on October 9, 2025, following the consideration of a report by the Examinations Regulations and Irregularities Committee.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Friday by the Head of Information, Publications, and Public Relations Unit, Abdullahi Datti.
According to Datti, the university’s Senate acted on the committee’s findings, which established various cases of examination misconduct.
He added that, in addition to the expulsions and suspensions, several other students were issued warning letters.
He stressed that the management remains committed to maintaining discipline and protecting the integrity of the institution’s academic standards.
“The management wishes to remind all students that examination malpractice and any form of academic dishonesty will not be tolerated,” Datti said.
