Residents of Ondo West Local Government Area will on Friday, November 14, 2025, converge on Akure Garage for a “Vote of Confidence Walk” in honour of the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
The event, scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m., is described by organisers as a symbolic demonstration of the people’s faith in the Governor’s visionary leadership and his administration’s commitment to development across the state.
The walk will be led by the Commissioner for Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing, Engr. Ayorinde Olawoye, alongside other political appointees from Ondo West. Party loyalists, community leaders, youth groups, and residents are expected to participate in the rally to celebrate what they called the Governor’s remarkable achievements in infrastructure and people-oriented governance.
According to the organisers, the “Vote of Confidence Walk” is not merely a political show of support but a public expression of gratitude, unity, and renewed commitment to sustaining peace and progress in the state.
