Nigeria’s inflation rate eased to 16.05 per cent in October 2025, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has reported.
The statistics agency disclosed this in its Consumer Price Index and Inflation report shared on its verified X (formerly Twitter) handle on Monday.
The figure marks a decline from the 18.02 per cent recorded in September.
On a month-on-month basis, the report noted that headline inflation rose by 0.93 per cent in October, while food inflation eased slightly, falling by 0.37 per cent compared to the previous month.
The report highlights the seventh consecutive month of decline in Nigeria’s inflation rate this year, reflecting gradual relief for consumers amid ongoing economic challenges.
