Aiyedatiwa appoints 32 Permanent Secretaries, others

Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment and confirmation of 32 officers as Permanent Secretaries in the state’s civil service.

The announcement was made in a statement on Monday by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.

Among those confirmed and appointed are Mrs. Tayo Ogundare, Mrs. Morayo M. Bayo-Philip, Adeyemi Sule, Mrs. Olufunso Tunji-Omoniyi, Olanrewaju Abiodun, Tope Lebile, mni, Stephen R. Aworere, Omotayo Akeju, Olufemi Moyinolorun, Olakunle Ajibade, Mrs. Oluwakemi Akinyemi, Bamidele Daisi, Engr. Akinluyi Omotola, Olumide Kinga, Mrs. Ope Adetoye, Olusiji Olatunji, Mrs. Oluseyi Odusola, Mrs. Funke Adelayi, Dr. Akindele Ige, and Olanrewaju Akarakiri.

Others include Dr. (Mrs.) Abike Ilawole, Tpl. Abimbola Tofowomo, Kolawole B. Kayode, Dr. Peter Akingbade, Ayodeji Ogudare, Adeduro Niyi Akinbola, Engr. Ibidapo Ojo, Olusegun Orisabinone, Surv. Idowu A. Owolabi, Adeoye O. Atibioke, Mrs. Toyin O. Awotoye, and Ayodeji Ayeku.

In addition, the Governor confirmed Olusola Sunday Ajayi as Statistician-General and Dr. Charles Tunde Ojuolape as Auditor-General for Local Governments, subject to approval by the Ondo State House of Assembly.

The statement added that the appointments take effect from February 1, 2026, while the date for the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed officers would be announced later.
