The Endometriosis and Adenomyosis Foundation (EAF), led by its visionary founder, Olabimpe Fapohunda, organized the Endo March in Ondo Town on Saturday, March 7, as part of activities marking Endometriosis Awareness Month.

The march brought together supporters, volunteers, and members of the public in a strong show of empathy and commitment to raising awareness about endometriosis, a health condition that affects many women and young girls but often goes unnoticed because its symptoms are not always easily recognized.

The march started from the EAF office located on Ademulegun Road and moved through several major parts of Ondo Town including Ife Garage Roundabout, Lisaluwa, NCI, General Road, Okelisa, Odotu, Town Hall, Oke-Aluko, and Surulere. Along the route, participants interacted with residents, distributed information brochures, and educated the public about the symptoms and the importance of early detection.

March is globally recognized as Endometriosis Awareness Month, and the Endo March was organized to help increase public understanding of the condition, encourage open conversations, and support women and girls who may be silently living with it.

The event also received wide publicity as media houses were present to cover the march, helping to extend the message to people listening from their homes and across the wider community. Speaking on the purpose of the march, the Foundation emphasized the need for more awareness, early detection, and strong support system for individuals affected by endometriosis. EAF remains committed to educating communities, advocating for better health responses, and supporting those living with the condition.

The Endometriosis and Adenomyosis Foundation continues to lead efforts in awareness, advocacy, and support, ensuring that women and girls do not suffer in silence and that those affected know they are not alone.
