Tinubu’ll suffer early defeat in 2027, Ex-ADC spokesman boasts

A former Publicity Secretary of the African Democratic Congress in Kano State, Saidu Bello Said, has predicted a swift electoral defeat for President Bola Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress in the next general elections.

Said, who spoke during an interview with Daily Post, expressed confidence that widespread dissatisfaction among Nigerians would translate into votes against the current administration, insisting that the outcome would become evident early on election day.

He argued that voters were increasingly disillusioned with governance and would use the ballot to express their frustration.

According to him, the ruling party would be rejected decisively, claiming that the President could lose the election “before 10 a.m.” due to what he described as mounting public anger.

The former spokesman also took a swipe at the administration’s handling of democratic principles, alleging that the system was no longer functioning in the interest of the people.

Commenting on political realignments in Kano, including recent high-profile defections, Said noted that the ADC was repositioning itself ahead of the 2027 polls.

He maintained that the party was working to strengthen its internal structure and present a viable alternative to Nigerians.

On the economy, he criticised recent policy decisions, particularly the increase in fuel prices, questioning the rationale behind the move amid shifting global oil dynamics.

He urged Nigerians to approach the 2027 elections as an opportunity to demand change, calling on voters to reject the ruling party at the polls.
