Fans of Ilebaye Odiniya have expressed concern after the reality television star appeared in an emotional livestream showing her in distress during an alleged assault.

The former Big Brother Naija housemate was seen in a video circulating on social media in the early hours of Saturday crying and repeatedly calling for help.

In the footage, Ilebaye appeared visibly shaken, with noticeable swelling on parts of her face, while pleading with unseen individuals during the livestream.

At different moments in the video, she was heard asking to be allowed to leave and appealing to viewers and people around to come to her rescue.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident could not be immediately verified as of the time of filing this report.

It also remains unclear whether the alleged assault had been officially reported to security agencies.

The disturbing video has, however, triggered widespread reactions online, with many fans and supporters expressing fears over the safety of the reality star and demanding a proper investigation into the incident.

As of Saturday morning, neither Ilebaye nor members of her management team had issued an official statement explaining what led to the altercation.
