Media influencer, Oluyemi Fasipe, popularly known as Yemiefash, has described Afenifere leader, Reuben Fasoranti, as a symbol of integrity, discipline and selfless leadership as the elder statesman marked his 100th birthday on Monday.
Fasipe, in a statement made available to journalists, said Fasoranti’s life remained a shining example of courage, honesty and commitment to humanity, noting that the nonagenarian had spent decades shaping lives through education and progressive leadership.
The media influencer, who recalled his days as a pupil of Omolere Nursery and Primary School founded by Fasoranti, said the elder statesman contributed immensely to moral upbringing and educational development in society.
According to him, the school was built on values of discipline, neatness and excellence, which reflected the personality and vision of its founder.
“Pa Fasoranti did not just establish schools; he built lives, shaped destinies and raised generations on the foundations of discipline, morality and excellence,” he said.
Fasipe added that beyond politics and public service, the Afenifere leader remained a father figure whose lifestyle and character inspired respect and admiration among many Nigerians.
“At 100, Baba’s life remains a remarkable testimony of service to humanity, dedication to education and commitment to progressive ideals,” he stated.
He commended Fasoranti for standing firmly for justice, good governance and Yoruba values over the years, praying for continued peace, strength and fulfilment for the elder statesman.
