An aspirant for the Ondo State House of Assembly seat representing Idanre Constituency under the All Progressives Congress, Aderemi Oyewole Guilder, has emerged as the party’s candidate after securing 5,440 votes in the primary election.
Speaking shortly after the announcement of the results, Guilder described his victory as a reflection of the confidence reposed in him by party members and stakeholders across Idanre Kingdom.
The APC chieftain expressed appreciation to the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, party leaders, elders and delegates for their support during the primary process.
According to him, the outcome of the exercise was a call to greater service and commitment to the development of the constituency.
“I am deeply grateful to the Governor, leaders of our great party, stakeholders across Idanre Kingdom and all delegates who stood by me throughout this process. The mandate given to me is a call to greater service,” he said.
Guilder stated that the victory belonged to all APC members and supporters who worked for the success of the primary election.
He urged party faithful to remain united ahead of the forthcoming election, stressing that collective commitment would be vital to ensuring victory for the APC in the constituency.
The lawmaker hopeful also assured residents of Idanre of quality representation, promising to champion policies and programmes that would attract development and improve the welfare of the people.
