Ondo Govt in Conjunction with Klick Konnect Intl. Ltd shortlists Consumer cooperative agents in 15 LGAs

Lately, after so much deliberation, an agreement was made by the management of Klick Konnect Network International Ltd and the investors at the Ondo-Linyi Industrial Hub to entrust 300 women in trade in all political wards of Ondo State and as well empowering 15,000 farmers via cassava farming in Ondo State.

In this regards, an empowerment programme has been established by this ally functioning in conjuction with the office of the special advicer to the governor of Ondo State. However, they have shortlisted about 166 consumer cooperative agents in 15 out of 18 Local Government areas of the State.

This empowerment programme established by the management of Klick Konnect Network International Ltd and the investors at the Ondo-Linyi Industrial Hub, was made to suppress the outcome of the COVID-19 lockdown on ths sustenance and subsistence of the people of Ondo State, and further to other corporate social responsibility initiatives, and relieving metric being put in place by the ally to assist low income earners in Ondo State.

This duo furthered by enphasizing that, “This initiatives will put women in their many hundreds to work in our rural areas and make food more affordable for the people of Ondo State in the remote rural areas, aiding for the state’s economic recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, the good people of Ondo State should be aware that about three months ago, Klick Konnect and partners picked hundred youths from all the Local Government areas of Ondo State for skill acquisition programmes at Africa College of Agriculture, Vocational and Technical Studies, ACAVATS Akure. Meanwhile, this programmes has helped the youth of Ondo State to acquire more skills and to make themselves more industrious in the society.

Next steps on the new empowerment will be communicated after potential beneficiaries are screened.
