Scores of Armed Bandits Killed By Army Troops in Zamfara
Troops of Operation Hadarin Daji have killed scores of armed bandits during an aggressive clearance operation in Zamfara State on July 11, 2020.
It was reported that the troops responded to a credible intelligence after some armed bandits had rustled unconfirmed number of cows around Daki Takwas and Tashar Kuturu in Anka and Talata Mafara Local Government Areas of Zamfara State.
The armed bandits were professionally engaged by the valiant troops that succeeded in overwhelming the criminals with superior fire power. The remaining bandits escaped with fatal gun shot wounds.
Moreso, troops of Nigerian Army succeeded in recovering 302 rustled cows and 412 sheep from the armed bandits. Other items recovered by the troops include
one empty magazine and 5 mobile phones. Meanwhile, the needful is being done to hand over the rustled animals to their owners.
