The Ondo state government has reacted to the defection of the deputy governor of the state, Agboola Ajayi from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to the Zenith Labour Party, ZLP.
YemieFash medium reports that Ajayi on Friday formally declared to contest for the governorship seat in the state under the platform of the ZLP.
In a statement on Friday in Akure, the nation’s capital, the Information, and Orientation Commissioner. Donald Ojogo described the emergence of the third force as “tough fraud”.
Ojogo noted that the All Progressives Congress, APC, will repeat the feat achieved during the 2016 governorship election in the state.
He said: ”The much-touted third force as tough fraud and an aborted pregnancy.
“If we were united to defeat all forces by delivering over 80 percent for Aketi, now that we are more united than ever before, we will not do less.
”Ignore whatever anyone says about third force, it is a tough fraud, not third force because they are singing about a pregnancy that had been aborted along the journey”.
