The federal lawmaker that is representing Idanre/Ifedore federal constituency, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye has appointed all the councillorship candidates of Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the recently concluded Local Government election in Ondo State as his Personal Assistants in their respective wards.
The appointment which was announced on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 by Mr. Olubayode Akintunde, a Senior Special Assistant to Hon. Tajudeen Addfisoye takes immediate effect.
According to Olubayode Akintunde, the
appointments were necessitated by the need to get the councillorship candidates more actively engaged in the affairs of SDP in their respective wards. He further stated that the appointments were also made to get updated and regular feedbacks onwards related issues from the councillorship candidates that graciously withdrew from the electoral process for the sake of dousing political tensions in Idanre Local Government Area.
Meanwhile, Adefisoye has congratulated the new appointees and assured them of his unfailing support in all areas that are necessary.
