A reliable military source has revealed on Monday that terror elements of Boko Haram in the North East region have been hit with acute shortage of food items, weapons and medicare.
It was also gathered that some Boko Haram fighters are seriously battling with the outbreak of cholera and severe hunger in their various hideouts within the North East.
In a bid to survive the pangs of hunger and lack of weapons, a source within the military has also confirmed the defection of some Boko Haram fighters to the ISWAP terror group for survival.
Meanwhile, a credible military source has therefore confirmed a possible loyalty attack on Baga by the terror elements. However, it was gathered that the Multi National Joint Task Force (MNJTF) and the troops of Operation Lafiya Dole troops are operationally prepared to unleash maximum military might on the terrorists.
