Operatives of the Goa Police Crime Branch in India have arrested a 42-year-old Nigerian, Omorigo Friday, over alleged possession and trafficking of cocaine valued at 15.89 lakh in the international market. The suspect was apprehended during a raid carried out in Pilerne area of Northy Goa on Friday. Tragedy struck along the Okota–Mile 2 corridor of Lagos State on Tuesday as a commercial bus driver and a female passenger were burnt to death after their vehicle burst into flames. Eight other passengers sustained varying degrees of injuries in the incident.
