A young woman has fled after allegedly stabbing her husband in a grisly domestic incident in Potiskum, Yobe State. The police said the 18-year-old suspect, identified as Khadija Jamilu, attacked her 25-year-old husband on Friday, inflicting a deep cut to his genital area. The Federal Government has approved an increase in the annual uniform allowance for nurses in its employment from N20,000 to N80,000. The approval was granted by the National Salaries, Wages and Income Commission, according to a memo obtained by The PUNCH.
