The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps in Jigawa State has said about 100 families were displaced by flooding in Gantsa, headquarters of Buji Local Government Area. The Jos Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday sentenced a 40-year-old businessman, Ibrahim Kaye, to three months’ imprisonment over a threat to life.
