The police on Wednesday arraigned a 44-year-old man, Temitope Oyeyemi, in an Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Chief Magistrates’ Court over alleged possession of Indian hemp. The defendant, of no fixed address, is standing trial on a charge of possession of Indian hemp. The police prosecutor, Inspector Sodiq Adeniyi told the court that the defendant committed the offence on July 10, at about 01:30 p.m in Ikere-Ekiti.
