Troops of the Nigerian Army on Wednesday succeeded in rescuing 18 female kidnapped victims from their captors and handed them over to the Katsina State Government. The Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court, Ibadan, on Wednesday, ordered that a 44-year-old man, Kazeem Adiatu, be remanded in prison custody for the murder of a 20-year-old lady, Temitope. A 32-year-old scavenger, Isah Yusuf, was on Wednesday docked in a Kaduna Chief Magistrates’ Court for allegedly snatching a woman’s handbag. The defendant lives in Malali Abakpa, Kaduna, and is charged with one count of theft.
