The Lagos State Police Command has dismissed a sergeant, identified as Ekpo Shinuyere for extorting a man of N98,000. The command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, in a statement on May 31, said Shinuyere collected his victim’s phone and allegedly transferred the sum of N98,000. Officials of the State Security Service (SSS) Tuesday morning prevented officials of the anti-graft agency, EFCC, from gaining access to their office in Ikoyi, Lagos.
