No fewer than 700 residents of riverine communities in Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State, on Saturday benefited from the  NNPC/Chevron joint venture free medical treatments with drugs worth over N7.5 million. A Federal High Court in Abuja has scheduled judgment for August 29 in the extradition proceedings involving suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Abba Kyari. The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved the proposal of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Limited to sign an agreement with the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) for the construction of the Nigeria-Morocco gas pipeline.
