China’s Foreign Ministry has warned Chinese citizens and firms working in Africa against traveling to some risky areas amid kidnappings of Chinese citizens in the continent. The Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Zhao Lijian, on Monday, confirmed the abduction of five Chinese nationals in the Democratic Republic of Congo, with the ministry urging those in dangerous places to leave as soon as possible. The West African Examinations Council, Nigeria, on Monday, released the West African Senior School Certificate Examination for School Candidates, 2021 in Nigeria.
