The University of Ibadan has barred graduands without first class honours from attending the 2021 convocation ceremonies physically. The university also barred the graduands without first class and their parents from being physically present on campus for graduation. The World Bank says Nigeria has so far borrowed $3.121 billion (?1,126.68 trillion at USD/?361), from China as at March 2020, an amount which represents only 3.94 per cent of Nigeria’s total public debt of $79.21 billion as of September 2021.
