The Lagos government says traffic will be diverted at Iyana-Era road to rehabilitate and construct a 20-metre bridge from September 24 for one year. Lagos transport ministry said in a statement that the construction would commence Friday at midnight. Frederic Oladeinde, Commissioner for Transportation, explained that the construction was to address factors responsible for the rapid and frequent deterioration of the section of the road.
