The Senate has set up a seven-member ad-hoc committee to investigate the assault incident by Elisha Abbo, a senator representing Adamawa North. A former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has said he is innocent of the allegations of fraud levelled against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
